Why I do not like to spend time with my sister

Dad's girlfriend: That's sad you couldn't go out.

Me: (In my head: SPACE LOVERS) Uhh...Star Trek.
Girlfriend: Oh...wow, that's REAL hot.

Girlfriend: I don't like that sci-fi stuff.
Me: Yeah.
Girlfriend: I like that mushy romantic stuff!
Me: (Well, then you'd love this because Kirk and Spock are basically in love and do all but say "I love you" and express their devotion without constant kisses in front of the camera because it was the sixties.) Yeah, I guess so.
Girlfriend: Yeah...I just can't get into that stuff, there's not enough love.
